School Visits at the Faculty of Science: Exploring Academic Excellence and Scientific Heritage
In line with the Faculty of Science’s commitment to strengthening ties with the local community and introducing the future generation to the prestigious scientific institution known as the “Mother of Faculties,” the college welcomed yesterday, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, delegations of students from Rouh Al-Ataa Schools, International Knowledge School, and Al-Diya Private Education, as part of the school visits program supervised by the Cultural Relations Office at the faculty.
The students were received by Ms. Nawal Mahfouz, the officer in charge of the Cultural Relations Office, who welcomed the visitors and gave them an overview of the faculty and its academic significance. She then accompanied them on a scientific tour that included several departments, beginning with the Department of Zoology, where the department head received them and provided the students with a detailed explanation about the department and the Zoology Museum.
The tour also included a visit to the Algae Laboratory in the Department of Botany, followed by a visit to the Herbarium, before concluding their tour with a visit to the Faculty of Science Library.
