Scientific Visit to the Libyan Center for Solar Energy
The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Education in Qasr Bin Ghashir organized a scientific visit to the Libyan Center for Solar Energy Research and Studies in the Tajoura area, with the aim of enhancing students' practical knowledge of renewable energy and broadening their understanding in this field.
The visit included a group of faculty members and students from the department. They were welcomed by a team of researchers at the center who provided them with presentations and hands-on activities.
During their tour, the students were introduced to the center’s laboratories, such as the Solar Radiation Measurement Laboratory and the Solar Cells Laboratory. They also attended lectures accompanied by presentations on important topics such as the National Green Hydrogen Project and solar heating systems.
It is worth noting that this visit had a positive impact on the participants, as the students gained extensive theoretical and practical knowledge, improved their scientific thinking skills, developed a deeper interest in the field of renewable energy, and contributed to building collaborative ties between the department and the center.
